Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie is so simple to make and tastes really good. The pie shell will need to be in the fridge for a couple hours though. You can use a pre-made pie shell instead, if you like.

3 eggs

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 cup light corn syrup

1 cup pecans

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 unbaked pie shell

Beat together eggs and sugar till well blended.

Blend in corn syrup, pecans and vanilla.

Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.

Bake @ 350 for about 40 minutes.

Serve with whipped cream if you like.

Pie Shell

1- 1/4 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter (cold and chopped into small pieces)

1/4 cup cold water

Combine flour and salt in big bowl.

Add butter pieces until mixture looks like crumbles.

Stir in water a tablespoon at a time, until a ball forms.

Wrap in plastic and refrigerate a couple hours.
