The rainy aftermath of Tropical Storm Lee set off flash flooding across a wide swath of Pennsylvania, closing roads, inundating homes and forcing evacuations as waters were expected to rise to near-record levels.
I know in my life this is epic flooding in my area. After all, I was only born in 1973 a year after Hurricane Angus in 1972.
The Swatara Creek and Quittapahilla are swallowing just about every bridge in their path with rampaging streams of water resulting in numerous road closures.
I captured some of the action around town.
